More top quality Birmingham based support acts have been confirmed for upcoming Capsule shows.

Einstellung join the bill for Tuesday 22nd May at Hare & Hounds. They will be playing with the mighty Harvey Milk and Grimpen Mire. Einstellung are a krautrock/shoegaze band who have been likened to My Bloody Valentine, Bardo Pond and Neu!. They released a double vinyl named ‘Wings of Desire’ on Capsule’s very own record label. Tickets are available from https://www.theticketsellers.co.uk/

Added to the Unsane + Big Business show is sludge duo Stinky Wizzleteat. United by a mutual love of the Bad Brains, Wizzleteat carve out a sound informed by groove from across the musical spectrum, whilst staying fully committed to heaviness, good times and volume. Tickets are available from https://www.theticketsellers.co.uk/

Thank you to the adventurous individuals who attended the Secret Show. Blindfolded throughout, the audience were guided through the city centre to a warehouse space where they witnessed the immersive sounds of internationally renowned sound artist Francisco Lopez in a scenario designed by artist James Webb.

Thanks to all who came out to last Friday’s sold out show with Grouper performing ‘Violet Replacement’. The show coincided with Fierce Festival’s opening weekend and was a very special evening, with excellent performances from Liz Harris (Grouper), Diamond Catalog and SWLLWS.

Diamond Catalog blew us away with their complex noise, seeped groove and DIY lightshow. Sit down rave!

SWLLWS created a special performance for this event. ‘Seance’ drew from Victoriana imagery and found family photographs.

A really special show, thanks to all who came out and thanks to VIVID and Fierce.

Next up, you lucky ones who snapped up the limited tickets for the SECRET SHOW are in for a  unique experience tonight. Some of you are being met in the city centre, others being met from their home – then your journey will begin. Enjoy, and do let us know about your experience  by commenting here, on the Facebook event page or via Twitter.

We’re very excited to announce that everyone’s favourite slow and heavy band Harvey Milk will play the Hare & Hounds on Tuesday 22nd May. Capsule coaxed the band out of the States back in 2008 to perform their very first show in the UK and we’re thrilled to have them back.

Support acts to be announced shorty, in the meantime tickets are available here https://www.theticketsellers.co.uk

Before that, it’s all eyes on Friday and our very special show with Grouper. Hailing from Stourbridge near Birmingham, Adam Beckley uses field recordings and looped samples to create textures of sound, sometimes hypnotic noise, other times dreamy soundscapes.
Adam has released two tapes. The first called ‘Revere’ through the label ‘Carnage Club‘. The second and most recent release is a split tape with Los Angeles based musician Beru. This was put out on Adam’s own tape label ‘Armed Within Movement’ and is the first release for the label. You can listen to both these releases on the links below.
