Capsule first presented Oxbow (full band) in the upstairs of a small, sweaty pub in Birmingham July 2003 shortly after presenting our first Supersonic Festival, it was both a fascinating and frightening experience but one that has developed into a long and fruitful relationship, resulting in performances at Birmingham strip clubs, riots in Texas and this unique collaboration recorded live at Supersonic Festival 2007.

"Creating a huge arc of slow building then dissolving drone music has fascinated me since long before Oxbow recorded Glimmer on An Evil Heat. Kin in form though only a single LP side in length "You Pay First" was expressly composed for this performance and recording.
