Throughout Summer 2011 Capsule are producing and curating a series of ambitious exhibitions and associated programme under the banner of Home of Metal taking place throughout The Black Country and Birmingham. To include exhibitions across the region plus a conference, concerts and film programme.

Exhibtions include 'Home of Metal: 40 years of Heavy Metal and its unique birthplace' at Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery, 'Hellbent for Leather: Judas Priest and the Heavy Metal Look' at Walsall Leather Museum', 'You Should Be Living: The Visual Language of Heavy Metal' at Wolverhampton Art Gallery and many more.
