Coming up – Harvey Milk play the Hare & Hounds

We’re buzzing with anticipation in the Capsule office for our forthcoming show with sludge legends Harvey Milk on Tuesday 22nd May. After reducing many to tears of overwhelming joy (no exaggeration) at their debut UK show at Supersonic Festival 2008, we’ve got high, high hopes.

There are advance tickets available via theticketsellers and directly from Polar Bear Records in Kings Heath (just a few doors down from the Hare & Hounds, on York Road).

Support comes from kraut/noise rockers Einstellung and heavy doom trio Grimpen Mire, so earplugs recommended.

Esmerine @ St Paul’s Church-photos

Thanks to all who came along to what was a really special show last Saturday. The stunning St Paul’s Church was animated with beautiful visuals and gorgeous sounds from Canada’s Esmerine. The multi instrumental collective, featuring members of Godspeed and Silver Mt ZIon created an incredible audio visual experience that matched the venue perfectly.

Support came from Stourbridge’s Adam Beckley, performing drone guitar looped through various effects

A great evening all round, thanks again to audience, artists and our ever lovely volunteers. The next show will have a slightly different feel, with Harvey Milk performing at Hare & Hounds on Tuesday 22nd May – but hey, that’s the diversity you can expect from Capsule!
