We are delighted to be awarded funding, as part of the PRS Foundation’s Talent Development Network, which supports and brings together organisations working at the frontline of talent development across the UK – ensuring transformational support is available to a broad range of music creators based in the UK working at any career level and in any genre.

Organisations were selected based on the quality and range of opportunities they are offering in their region/nation/genre/music specialism, and the year-round impact their work is having on the music creators they support. The network reflects the three key funding priorities:

  • To support the creation, performance and promotion of outstanding new music in any genre
  • To enable the UK’s most talented music creators to realise their potential
  • To reach audiences

Funding was awarded to Supersonic Festival to support two key talent development strands, Associate Artists and Showcasing Music Creators, With the additional financial support of PRS Foundation, Supersonic Festival will continue to forge a UK-wide culture of artistic programming that is more demanding, diverse, and risk-taking. This work is vital, timely and will have significant impact on the individual music creators we can work with as a result of this support, as well as upon our organisation, and on the wider sector.

PRSF funding enables us to take creative risks—supporting new artist commissions and providing the resources needed to invest in marketing.

This not only creates a strong platform for emerging talent but
also plays a crucial role in driving ticket sales and audience engagement.
